Talks of a Joel Osteen trade had been under way for several months before the trade was completed this morning. The Zoroastrians will send three promising models to the Christians in exchange for Osteen, who must pass a physical before he travels to join the religion in Iran.
As with any big trade, there will certainly be key holes left to fill on both rosters. It is expected that one of the three models will eventually step in to Osteen's role. The transition will likely take a few years, as all three models are still signed to endorsement deals with a major shampoo and lotion company.
