Three lifelong friends gathered together around the kitchen table. Day one of the rest of their lives had just begun. The boys were back in town, and they were now podcasters. Two of the three friends cracked open the boxes containing their new mics from Amazon, confident that these boys were the top rated ones they could find for 50 bucks a pop. After they set them up they looked around to see what they would be working with for a third mic. As they eyed the cord leading up to the neck of their friend's DIII college basketball shirt, reality set in. The third mic was a lapel mic.
This was no Joel Osteen lapel mic either. No one would be giving a TED Talk sporting one of these boys. This guy crackled more than an out-of-market radio station. There was only one thing they could do. Two of them would have to Jersey Boys one of the mics. Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons served spit particle blows to that mic all night. But the boys were back in town.
